Acceptable use policy

Last updated June 2026. This is a starting template and should be reviewed by your own counsel before launch.

This policy keeps HiThisIs, a product of Four Cents, useful and safe for everyone. Using the service means you agree to it.

Don't use it to break the law

No fraud, harassment, threats, or any illegal activity. Don't use the service to impersonate someone, or to collect information under false pretenses.

Respect call recording laws

Calls are recorded. You are responsible for the notices and consent your jurisdiction requires. We can help you announce recording at the start of a call, but the legal obligation is yours.

Service calls only, no marketing

The service is for answering inbound calls to your business, for demo calls you request, and for service and transactional messages to your own existing patients or customers, such as a report being ready, a reminder, or an appointment confirmation. Do not use it to place promotional or marketing calls, or unsolicited mass outbound calls or texts. Only contact people you have an existing relationship with and the right to call, and honour any request to stop.

Don't abuse the demo

The demo calls a number you enter so you can hear the service. Only enter numbers you own or have permission to call. We rate-limit demos and will block misuse.

Don't attack the service

No attempts to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other customers' data.

Enforcement

We may suspend or close accounts that break this policy, and we will cooperate with law enforcement where required.
