What a call sounds like in Telugu
A caller booking an appointment.
Why Telugu matters on the phone
Telugu is the first language of most callers in the two Telugu states, usually mixed with English and, in Hyderabad, with Hindi and Urdu. Telugu with English numbers is how appointments get booked here. In Hyderabad a caller may switch to Hindi, and the receptionist switches with them.
How the receptionist speaks Telugu
'Namaskaram' opening, respectful 'meeru', the appointment repeated back with the day named in full to avoid confusion. Telugu with English numbers is the normal way people book here, and the front desk answers the same way rather than forcing one language.

Leaving a number for a callback
Mixed-language callers
Real calls are rarely in one language. A Telugu speaker will say the date in English, the doctor's name in English, and everything else in Telugu. The receptionist does not switch mode or ask the caller to pick; it answers the way the caller spoke. If a word is unclear it asks the caller to repeat or spell it, the way a careful human receptionist would, instead of guessing a name and sending you the wrong one.
What you get after the call
A WhatsApp message with the caller's name as they said it, their number as ten digits, and what they wanted, in the language you chose for your reports. The transcript and a summary are saved against the call in your dashboard.

Questions people ask
Does the receptionist switch language in the middle of a call?
Yes. If a caller opens in Telugu and switches to English or Hindi for a date or a number, the receptionist follows in the same sentence. It never asks the caller to choose a language.
Is it a real voice or a recording?
It is a live conversation, not a recorded menu. The caller says what they want in their own words and the receptionist responds to that, asks the follow-up questions your business needs, and confirms the details back.
What about callers who do not speak Telugu?
You choose the languages for your line. Most businesses set Telugu plus Hindi and English, and the receptionist answers in whichever the caller uses first.
Will my WhatsApp alert be in Telugu too?
The alert gives you the caller's name, number and reason in the language you set for your reports. Names spoken in Telugu are written the way the caller said them.
Can it handle a Telugu accent from a different district?
Regional variation is expected. Where a word is unclear it asks the caller to repeat or spell it, exactly as a good human receptionist would, instead of guessing.
