Every call becomes a WhatsApp message
Indian business owners run their day on WhatsApp, so that is where the call details should land. HiThisIs sends a WhatsApp message for every call the receptionist handles, and for the calls your staff took too, so the owner sees the whole day's phone activity in one thread without asking anyone.
What the alert contains
The patient or customer's name as they gave it, their number as ten digits so it can be tapped and dialled, what they wanted in one line, the time they want, and which doctor or service they asked for if your business captures that. When the receptionist booked a slot, the alert says so. When it could not finish taking details, the alert says that plainly instead of pretending.
Alerts go to the numbers you choose: the owner, the front desk, a manager. Each alert is a template approved for business messaging, so it arrives reliably and does not depend on anyone having replied to you first.
Three kinds of alert
A lead alert when the receptionist took the caller's details or booked a time. A missed-call alert when the caller hung up before giving details, so you still know someone tried and can call back. And a passed-to-team alert when the receptionist connected the caller to your staff, with a short summary of what the caller said before the handover, so the owner knows what the team handled.
Why WhatsApp and not SMS or email
SMS in India is drowned in promotional traffic and often lands in a folder nobody opens. Email is read at a desk, not at the counter. WhatsApp is on the phone in the owner's pocket, is read within minutes, and lets the owner forward the lead to whoever should act on it with one tap. The same details also go to a Google Sheet if you connect one, so there is a permanent record that does not scroll away.
Returning callers are recognised
When a number that has called before rings again, the receptionist greets the caller by name and confirms it is them, and the alert says the same. The owner sees 'Pooja Patil, called before, wants to reschedule' rather than a bare number.

Questions people ask
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No. Alerts arrive on any WhatsApp number you choose. You do not need a WhatsApp Business account or an API of your own.
Can more than one person get the alerts?
Yes. Add the owner, the receptionist and a manager. Everyone gets the same message at the same time.
Will I get an alert for calls my staff answered?
Yes, if you use the ring-staff-first setup. When the receptionist passes a call to your team you get a passed-to-team alert with a summary.
Is the number in the alert clickable?
Yes. It is sent as ten digits, so on a phone it can be tapped to dial or copied into a message.
What if WhatsApp is down or the message fails?
Delivery is retried automatically, and the same details are always in your dashboard and your Google Sheet, so nothing is lost.
